Key Milestones:

• 1986: Hannelore and Wilhelm Hartmann begin their first property management role.
• 1992: Hartmann Property Management is founded by Hannelore Hartmann in Starnberg, focusing on WEG management. The business expands steadily, adding services such as individual property management, rental management, and real estate brokerage to assist clients with buying, selling, and renting.
• 2005: With nearly two decades of experience, Hartmann Property Management becomes a trusted partner for both commercial and private clients, managing, leasing, and marketing properties in southwest Munich, Starnberg, and Fürstenfeldbruck.
• 2006: To manage the growing business and secure succession, Estate5 AG is founded by the Hartmann family (Angela, Hannelore, Sonja, and Wilhelm).
• 2007: Estate5 transitions to professional property management software, Domus 4000 (now Domus ERP).
• 2010: Introduction of the "Domus Object Management" data management system.
• 2012: The company focuses on rental and estate management while expanding its billing services for institutional investors (e.g., real estate funds) nationwide.
• 2013: Estate5 is certified under DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and adopts the Domus Navi (now Domus CRM) system.
• 2015: Estate5 focuses entirely on its core business: property management, stepping away from additional activities such as real estate brokerage.
• 2016: Certification under DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
• 2017: Launch of the "Sustainable Property Management" service for owner associations interested in eco-friendly solutions.
• 2018: Introduction of Domus Homecase, a cutting-edge digital communication platform with document access for owners, enabling them to download key documents and communicate with property management at any time, from anywhere.
• 2019: Estate5 is honored as a finalist for the 2018 Starnberg County Energy Award for the "Sustainable Property Management" initiative, recognizing forward-thinking and exemplary projects.
• 2020: Digital document verification is introduced, allowing property boards to review and verify receipts and bookings online, making the process simpler and more secure—especially important during the COVID-19 crisis. Clients can also choose to receive important documents (e.g., statements, financial plans, meeting invitations) either by mail or as a PDF in their Homecase digital mailbox.
• 2021: Estate5 joins the Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact and furthers its digital transformation with the introduction of automatic invoice recognition software and an app for caretakers to record and transmit meter readings automatically.
• 2022: Full transparency in accounting is achieved by giving clients access to property statements and all relevant receipts from the previous year via the Homecase online platform.
• 2023: With a new leadership team in place as of April 1, 2023, Estate5 continues its forward-thinking journey, building on its strong digital infrastructure.
